Tactical Training Group delivers a RSA training program that provide candidates with the underpinning knowledge and the understanding, required to act responsibly when dealing with alcohol and the general public in relation to their responsibilities, workplace duties, the law, customer service, and duty of care and harm minimisation.

Duration: 6 hours face-to-face with a qualified OLGR approved RSA Trainer


COURSE REQUIREMENTS

* A sound understanding of English
* Must be at least 18 years of age


Course Content:
The RSA course is a competency based program covering:

* Identifying the context of Responsible Service of Alcohol
* Awareness of Drink-Driving and prevention
* Measuring the outcomes of Responsible Service of Alcohol on premises
* Agenises
* The Impact of Alcohol Misuse and Abuse
* Legislative framework for Responsible Service of Alcohol
* Implementing Responsible Service of Alcohol strategies
* The Liquor Act overview and the Liquor Industry Code of Practice
* Responsible promotion of liquor
* Intoxication - Indicators and Offences


COURSE OUTCOMES

Assessment: At the end of the course you are required to successfully complete a written assessment.

This course is accredited under the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF), Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Board (VETAB NSW), and is approved by the Casino Liquor & Gaming Control Authority (CLGCA) as satisfying the RSA training provisions.

Upon successful completion of this course, candidates will receive a Statement of Attainment and a a NSW Casino Liquor & Gaming Control Authority (CLGCA) "Responsible Service of Alcohol" Certificate (SITHFAB009A) enabling candidates to apply for positions at any NSW licensed venue.
