Frontline Management Certificate IV

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who take the first line of management in a wide range of organisational andindustry contexts. They may have existing qualifications and technical skills in any given vocation or profession, yet requireskills or recognition in supervisory functions. Typically they would report to a manager. At this level frontline managersprovide leadership and guidance to others and take responsibility for the effective functioning and performance of the teamand its work outcomes.

Employees suited to this course

In order to successfully complete this course, it is highly recommended that you have work experience, high level of oral andwritten skills, are a great communicator, manage your team by ensuring open communication channels and to clarify issuesresolving conflict and disputes in the work team, being a role model for other team members, consulting and developingobjectives with the work team, identifying and developing opportunities for improved work practices and/or coaching andmentoring colleagues and team members to support the introduction of change. Course Delivery

This course is delivered on site at the workplace. Training and assessments are conducted by a qualified trainer who holdsgroup sessions and can also have one on one contact with participants. Learning strategies include a combination ofclassroom style training, on the job training, written activities, research and workplace projects. While assessments areconducted through direct observation, written and verbal questioning, role play and simulation, workplace projects andsupervisors reports. We recognise Certificates & Statements of Attainments issued by other RTO’s. The course timeframe isto be completed within 24months (full time).

Qualification

Once competency is achieved in all 10 units, the qualification of Certificate IV in Frontline Management is awarded and acertificate and a statement of attainment are issued.
